Amandine comes from Brittany, a celtic country situated in France. At the age of seven, just like her wandering ancestors, she left with her family to settle in Guadeloupe, an island of the French West Indies. Though she was surrounded by tropical sounds and burning sun, she dreams of folk music, american variety, pop, jazz, country and listen again and again to the music of her father, rather than go out and play with children of her age.It is decided: she will be a singer! Her mother refuses, but her father encourages her and soon, though they have little money, find a canadian teacher located near their house to give her a solid musical education. For three years she will learn. But, the young girl is really independant and begin to tire of the routine, she wants to create! To sing her music! Though she has a good voice, she can't play any instruments. So, she quits her teacher and find a musican to play into the luxury hotels of the island. The success is immediat, so much that her musician try to break the act, to have his own success... He get them fired from the hotels.
Then she sings with traveling American R&B and Soul band, one song here, another there, but it is not enough! So she discovers Youtube.com, a free website that invite people to publish themselves!! What a luck! She creates her account and under the name of "marychristmax", she upload videos of herself singing all different styles of music, from broadway musicals to actual music, always with the help of her father who buy her a small webcam and a cheap microphone.
After some trying, she meets online Mel, an english youtuber that write his own music. She asks him to sing one of his song and it is the beginning of a web-collaboration that still last. She will discover Nancy, an american youtuber, who is a lyricist and song-writer. That girl who couldn't get a friend in all her life finds two on the web and soon, mix the talents of evryone and records homemade songs.
Today, her wishes are to go in England and to be signed by a record label to create something new, far from the actual routine of musics we listen today.
